Different groups, different views, different ways of coping

This post ain't to upset anyone in particular. But I find that people have different ways of coping and how they look at their alopecia. And I also find some groups outside of aw spread different messages to their fellow members. These messages are from alopecia is not normal and should be cured to you are beautiful bald . And I want to highlight since alopecia is different for everyone. How they cope is different too. And sometimes you find sometimes different people's way of coping is different from you. Don't let that affect your progress in coping and make you upset that you can't cope well. My message to every alopecian out there.. I don't really care if you have hair or no hair. I find you all beautiful and handsome and in your own right. And the only thing I want for everyone is that you are happy and you are doing it your way. From cures to finding options. As long as you are happy with it. You shouldn't care for what other people say about it.. And if you are not happy with alopecia. Don't give up because there will always be a light at the end of the tunnel. That is my message to all alopecians out there. Now what would you add to this post to make everyone coping feel better about themselves and warm inside?

An old Cherokee told his grandson, "My son, there is a battle between two wolves inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment , inferiority, lies, & ego. The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, empathy, & truth." The boy thought about it, and asked, "Grandfather, which wolf wins?" The old man quietly replied, "The one you feed."
Tan I think you have a generous spirit and I think au-no-more went beyond, well beyond, disagreeing with you - he stated he came to this site because he knew you - and yet he went out of his way to insult you. You nor anyone else deserves to be insulted- it is counterproductive and mean.
I totally agree with everything you said, Lily Bell!
I don't think there is an issue in isolating those that fight the hardest. I think the issue here is how the person in question treated others and how they were treated in turn. If someone disagrees with anothers opinion it doesn't give them the right to make personal attacks on them, then to whinge that they are being banned from the site because "alopeciaworld hate people that want a cure, alopeciaworld makes money off the suppliers, alopeciaworld is the devil incarnate", I can guess they were removed because the make personal comments on others not as some mass conspiracy against AUNOMORE and RJ has stated that. Its that simple.

Everyones experience is different be it whether they have AU\AA\AT, or the length of time they have had it. If people want to fight for a cure then that OK, if people want to hide that OK, to support others OK, but simply becuase a user disagrees with another it is no reason to start making petty insults.
Well said, Paul!
AGREED PAUL.
Well said Tan. Everyone is going to have a different journey on this alopecia ride. And what we all need to remember is that what we share with eachother is our own experiences and opinions. We need to remember to respect others even if we dont see eye to eye on the topic. Like everything thing else in this world. Fighting never helps any situation. I have definitely learned this while training horses over the years. The harder you push to make anyone to do or see the world the as you do, is only going to make them push back.

Drawing and painting.
Thanks so much for sharing this. After reading so many (yes a lot) of posts I felt that because I prefer wigs 24/7 I was suffering from low self esteem, or just wasn't "with it" or progressive enough. And honestly, some folks seem rather negative towards those of us who make the decision to wig it.

Fact is, we're all scared, and a little shy sometimes, and I suppose I felt picked on, or old fashioned and weak. But your post affirms me in whatever *I* decide to do for me. In fact the technology has come a long way, and it's a new way of life I am actually enjoying. Your last sentence says it all, and I can withstand it now. Yay for EVERYONE, no matter what you decide to do ! :)
