Hi Just wondering if anyone has had any success with suction cups, I've just taken my daughter to a chinese tharapist who is supposed to be very good. He used suction cups on her back and wants her to go back for more treatments. Her back is a mass of black/purple bruises, I feel so bad and dont want to put her through it again for nothing. Any advice??? Donna

I dont think it is used for alopecia. My inlaws uses these cups all the time and it is only when they have a severe bout of a cold or flu. It is meant to be a form of releasing heat from the body I think.
hi donna, i agree with karen. my family and i are chinese and they practice chinese medicine and i remember my dad used that method for his arthritis. Holly
Ok Thanks, bit unsure now what to do. I think he thinks her white blood cells are the problem and the cupping will increase new blood cells.
