I've been feeling pretty down about losing my hair, but recently I have discovered many celebrities wear wigs on a daily basis. I was wondering if any of you guys knew that too! Do you know of any famous celebrities that wear wigs?

Kelly Rowland (ex-Destinys Child) has spoken about how she loves her wigs to change up her looks. Beyonce also always wears wigs. Oprah has an extensive collection. The actress Natalie Wood wore a wig in some of her early movies, Raquel Welch of course has her own line of wigs and has been wearing wigs for a fashion statement since the 1960s... these are just a few very beautiful and successful ladies that are wig wearers.... We are not alone. XXX

Naomi Campbell, Rihanna, Tyra Banks, Kim Kardashian, Nicki Minaj, and probably many more!

I understand what you are saying but think that the reality for those that have lost their hair is the choice to wear a wig is not necessarily one they want or choose. Alopecia is uninvited. The choice to wear a wig is still there but the alternative (although great for many people) is not how they would have choosen to present themselves...no hair for those with alopecia is not a choice...not having a choice is frustrating and upsetting.

Jennifer Lopez has a whole room in her house for her wigs. I think her real hair was worn for Maid in Manhattan...which looks nothing like her extensions and publicity hair.

Just about all the African-American female celebrities wear wigs -- lace front wigs.

I agree with Rose Marie on this... even my mom back in the late 60's and 70's use to wear wigs when she didn't want to "fix" her hair, she would pop on a wig and go.

I think G is trying to state that wigs don't always have to look bad and unnatural like we think they do and then giving examples of people who wear them and still look great.

Yes, I've noticed that. You can discover the difference easily. Here are 10 celebrities with hair extensions before and after. Check them out.
