Bald or Topper?

So recently we bought a very expensive topper and I absolutely love it! It matches my hair color and it looks normal. However, I am still losing all of my hair and the hair that I grow back falls out. Should I just go bald? But if I do, what should I do about the topper? Plus I'm in high school almost going to college. What should I do?
