I was on Xeljanz 10mg a day for about 2 years with very little results. After a break out of shingles, I stopped Xeljanz. Went to a different dermatologist and have a new protocol

100 mg a day for 3 days  a month of prednisone. Called pulse dosing. If/when hair comes back, transition back to Xeljanz possibly on a higher dose to keep hair. Might take 3 or 4 months to see if it is working.

What I have been observing is most people that have had success with Xeljanz are the ones that are on a higher dose.  Has anyone tried this approach?

Hi there - I have tried, yes - and I went up to 60 mg a day of Xeljanz along with the prednisone pusling. I have been AU for 1.5 years - and I still have not one hair. However, as you know, everyone is different, so I very much hope this works for you!

WOW 60 mgs a day of Xeljanz seems like a lot. Did you have any hair growth? body or scalp hair?

Question? I have seen quite a lot of posts about this medication lately. I looked it up and it looks like it runs about $1700-$1800 for a  30 day supply?
