I have heard alopecia can be heredity.  I totally believe stress is a cause.  In my case stress has played a big part.  I also had a bout with Rheumatoid arthritis several years ago.  That also is a autoimmune disorder.  Again, I was under alot of stress. I don't know what one can do, except ride it out and see a dermatologist.

I hear that the Keto diet is anti-inflamatory so you may want to try it. Your daughter may want to have her thyroid checked. Hair loss is usually a factor. Good luck!

We have had our thyroids checked.  I have been of medication for years.  They told her she is in range.

My daughter was told by her GP that her thyroid was always in the normal range as well, but recently the endocrinologist found that this was not the case and put her on a low dose of Synthroid. She had gone through some shedding a year or so ago and was very concerned about it.

I believe fully in Systematic Inflammation. Reducing inflammation settles your immune system. I have had great results with reducing my inflammation by healing my gut. I will continue to do this.

I also struggle with joint pain and stomach issues. I have found that diet is extremely important in reducing those things. The aches and pains literally vanish over a span of a week or so when I'm 100% off processed sugar and gluten. The complete elimination is key and the old "cutting back" nonsense does nothing.

So, try it out and see what happens.

Living with pain is very hard, you need to relieve it urgently. As for alopecia, it's inherited, but not in all cases.
