Hi!  My daughter is 11 now.  She was diagnosed with AA when she was 8.  It quickly progressed into AU.  For over 2 years she had no hair anywhere on her body..last spring I noticed a small bit of hair on her head begin to grow.  Within 6 months she had a full head of hair and I can see her eyelashes and eyebrows starting to grow too.  She is of course over the moon excited!  She will be starting middle school next fall.

Yesterday, she found a new AA patch.  It is just above her right ear and is currently covered by surrounding hair.  I am so worried she will lose all of it again.  Anyone else have experience with AU reoccurring?  We've only gone 3 months with a real haircut and no head covers.
