Alopecia, wigs and motorcycle helmets

My husband recently bought a motorcycle with a sidecar and wants me to ride with him, but I don't know what to do about wearing a helmet without losing my wig when I take off the helmet. Anybody have a solution or experience?

Wig tape. If your wig doesn't have tape tabs at the forehead, nape, and ears, you can take the wig to a wigmaker and ask for tape tabs to be sewn in. Very simple, should only take about an hour. The tape should keep the wig secure when you take off the helmet. I don't recall what the name of the tab material is - it's a very thin, almost plastic like material.
