Has anyone heard of Glyconutrients for treatment for alopecia? I've been told the only way you can buy them is from Mannatech which is a big marketing company like Amway. My friends Mum has been on them for other health problems and says they have helped her a lot.

I tried mannatech a few years ago. I felt more energized but at that time did not have AA. The prime ingeredient is mannose, a long-chain polysacharide also contained in aloe. Aloe has a good effect on inflammation. You can buy aloe juice at more health food stores. I've been drinking it most days for a few months but no effect on the AA.
Since I wrote my earlier message I have tried gly-co power which is apparently similar to those from mannatech.
I haven't had any change to my alopecia. My hair grows unevenly and still falls out. I'm at the point now where I bought a shaver and I keep my hair short.
