Changing our world one head at a time!

I work Friday through Monday, week in, week out, and I've done this for 12 years. So Tuesday is my housework/shopping/errands day. It's a busy, busy day. We also have a Bible study at 7 p.m., so I need to be done with my stuff and have dinner fixed, clothes ready, etc, you get the picture. So this last Tuesday I was planning on a secret trip to the yarn store (my personal drug of choice being YARN), but I had promised to burn a CD for a friend . . . well, my desk is a real sight to see, two comp… Continue

I found this site, it gave me a chuckle, but it also had some great messages underneath the humor. There's also a link that taught me a new way to tie my bandana! cool! http://www.alopeciaboy.net/KenDoll.html

I'm looking at those of you who are able to go bare-headed and without wigs or scarves/hats! You're amazing! Were you always able to do it? I'm finding there are so many things I used to do/want to do that I can't with my wigs . . . ride rollercoasters, bike . . . . and I'd like to buy a little scooter since gas is so outrageous! On another subject, I was about 20 rows from completing my baby afghan and a hole appeared at about the 1/2 way point. I tried to repair it w/o unraveling the whole thing, but no...... Anyway, I did unravel back to the 1/2 way point and have reknitted (which I realize is not a word, lol) back to where I was before. I would have been finished long ago, but as I said I have been busy. I hope to complete it this weekend and then all I have to do is weave the ribbon the the holes along the edge. I'm using the basic dishcloth pattern to make it out of using 6 balls of yarn. I knit out 3 and in 3 and it's done, normally a very easy pattern that you can do w/ your eyes closed (until you have to unknit and reknit). Oh well, life goes on.
Until next time.
