About Me:: My first go-around with AA was at age 15, due to a 3 week bout of Scarlet Fever; nickel & quarter sized bald spots randomly all over my body. By age 16, all was back t normal, but not for long. Age 18, premature male pattern baldness started, and my hairline shrank as my forehead grew,lol. This finally halted where it's at about 5 years ago.Well, the crown going bald was the last straw,my receding hairline stopped in my 20's, as is as far back as it has been since then. In 1999, the AA returned, though making random appearances only on my arms & legs.Nowadays, I have less hair than my 62 year old father,lol. It appears I'm taking after my grandfather, Frank Sr, in the hair dept. Especially since I'm beginning to look more like him as well.Aside from the AA, I was also born with a bi-lateral cleft lip & palate, and have endured 25 operations from 1 month old to my 30th year;I have about several more to go, with major teeth extraction being the majority, as "clefters" tend to have soft teeth, and fall apart WAY too damn easily, as is my case with about 7 teeth right now, and my final nose revision, as my nose didn't fill out right cartilage wise as I grew, and have had the nose tip, nostrils redone several times already.". I have a quarter pound of titanium in my jaws, and two foot long Horizin rods hooked into my spince sine 1987 for scoliosis. But I'm still here, and all that pain early on was worth the man I've become, and I'd do it again.

Two years later, the guilt still eats me up...

So, this past July 7 marked two years since my mom passed away due to cancer, and yet the guilt of missing her by roughly 12 hours, and spending what remaining time I would have had with her by living in Virginia both still sit wihin my soul. Rare occurence today/tonight

For the first time in almost 10 years I have coem down with a quick but nasty case of the stomach flu. Already reversed gear on my stomach about midnight tonight:felt alot better. Now sipping cold water, unsalted crackers, a dramamine pill to calm thy stomach, then some pepto an hour after that. Waiing for what'sleft of the fever to ebb away no, and my lower back from aching,lol.This flu has already nailed three of my friends since Tuesday,lol.

Superman Complex Mark 2

Ok, when I say "Superman Complex", I'm essentially describing how my dad USED to be before my mom died two years ago this coming Monday. Freetime in the summer: Taking myself to new levels
