About Me:: Mother of a seven year old boy with alopecia areata. He had AU since he was one. He currently has about 90% of his hair and it has been this way for 2&and1/2 years. Would love to talk to other parents of children with AA.

I recall you saying you have gone to CAP events. Do you know what they having going on during the summer. I was thinking of taking a drive up there. I have friends ands family in NJ that wants us to visit so I was going to make a trip of it. I haven't had a chance to email Betsy to ask.

Samantha had a consult for a custom wig Sat and she is very excited. We are still doing the treatments and my motherly instinct tells me it is starting to work, but who knows. My husband says he sees nothing. I see some white hair stubbles in different areas and I hoping that is a sign that the meds are starting to work.

Hopefully, we can get some moms on a chat one night..
