My main passions in life include traveling the world, dancing my heart out, applying make-up (it's fun! it's art!), and being with those who love me as much as I love them. I am determined to succeed in my future career and fulfill my dream of one day living in a posh apartment in Paris. Cultures fascinate me, reading is a gift I treasure, I cherish knowledge, and I am bedazzled by the arts (be it performing or still). If I didn't have such severe allergies and asthma I would surround myself with kittens and bunnies, as they are the cutest animals in town! Although I rarely watch TV, I do enjoy seeing Roseanne, The Fresh Prince of Bell Air, Design Star, and The Golden Girls. I am a big fan of movie nights, too, especially if they include a good comedy, as I love to laugh!

Hi all.
My mother is not taking my hair loss well. To be perfectly honest, she's an emotional wreck over it. It is not enough for her to know that I've adjusted to the fact that some day I might be bald and wearing a wig. It is not enough for her to know that I've managed to overcome my sadness. I'm New Here! Here's My Story.
Greetings! Although I am not yet bald, I am sort of afraid (make that
terrified) that I will be eventually. For the past year or so my hair has
been falling out at a rather steady pace when I comb it. I went to
dermatologists, endocrinologists, trichologists, and gynocologists to try

I'm new here, until now I knew 0 souls with alopecia, i feel less isolated now :)
I've tried everything, as have you, I went on the pill for ages (didn't help AT ALL!) its just made me put on weight :S
My mom was the same as yours in the beggining but now she is coming to terms with it (unlike me).
