ohh the light treament.... well the first time i had it i got pretty badly burned so they adjusted the intensity and stuff and now its just peachy.. but its really not doing too much for me i dont think... it has made the skin on my head more rough though... dunno if thats a good sign but im using tons of emollients so my skin is still supple.

It's basically the only time I ever do anything bald because I am so confident in my dancing, that I don't care about what people think about my appearance at that moment. I swim sometimes, but I stopped when I lost my hair for the same reasons, now I just get it, I don't really go under because I usually wear a wig. I love to write and listen to music, it's my life, hahaha. I'm in eleventh grade. I have two brothers, a sister, my mom, and my stepdad, and the rest of my family that totally supports me. i hate wearing wigs, but i hate not wearing them if that even makes sense, hehe. Hmmm... I'm sixteen, seventeen next june, not soon enough though. I model bald for an artist, although I'm kind of shy about it! That's basically it. I love meeting new people and it's really nice to meet you because you seem very similar to me in so many ways. I'd be really interested in keeping in touch because it's kind of cool that you live so far away, but we are so much alike!

At 5:45pm on August 28th, 2008, Kaitlyn said…: wow, that's crazy, it's like you know me or something. that's exactly it and i can't seem to get anyone else to understand that. the say the same thing to me about getting wrapped up in it and focusing my whole life on it. like you though, it makes me feel so much more comfortable about my disease when i help people understand and accept it for what it is because i feel like i can be me then and they get it and don't care. it just sucks that i can't get anyone to help me, and being so young, i can't do it on my own. i only wish there was something, anything at all that i could do. if you figure anything out please let me know.

I am at that point now, too, that I really could care less what people think about me.
I really love that wig, it's gorgeous.
