To me focusing our energies on getting to a place of self-acceptance is where the real cure is. I really don't want my self-confidence to be attached to my hair, my weight, my skin color... Having a relationship with alopecia is no different from having relationship with hair.
We find someone who accepts our lack of hair, but everything else remains. We still have to battle through the process of merging 2 personalities, and me and rj are no different.

Mine is just some digital playing with a picture I took of some bleeding hearts in my friend's garden. Amazing what can come from these things if you let the intuitive stuff flow.
I'm doing very well, actually. I just recently moved into my own place, and will be starting school on Monday, so it's kind of a busy/new time in my life! It's very exciting though, and I'm loving it. I'm a lot happier with myself because of my advancements of conquering alopecia. =)
