I am lucky to be surrounded with great friends, and family i know are always there for me. I love laughing and smiling and having fun and being CRAZZY. Although my alopecia sometimes brings me down, im the person i am today becuse of it. i feel like i am the strongest out of most of the people i know and get on with my life, not letting alopecia get in my way!

through alopecia, i have learnt alot about myself, and other people... i get noticed, and remembered... when were playing netball or tennis or sport on a field, people from school or parents know where our team are becasue i can be used a marker, with my headscarfs seen from a mile off on a pitch full of girls with hair which is actually quite funny!! ive learnt i save my parents money with no hair cuts and colour, i can sleep in for an extra 15 minuites, no need to wash and style my hair, life is much easier when people accept alopecia, which i do experience, and i feel lucky that alopecia on a whole makes me and my life easier and better in a way, as ive never really had to deal with being bullied, just the whole growing up with no hair, and always being the different one...

the things i hate about i alopecia is the cancer comments and sympathetic looks. that is what gets me.

feel free to talk to me, would love to hear from people!!

oh and i have a freedom wig- a vacuum wig... so if anyone want any info or tips or give me any... just ask!!

i also believe that:

HI, I use redken soft shampoo and conditioner. Plus i use a conditioning treatment on it once and a while. Um no dark line around edge, but they will fix that if it is their fault you should tyake a photo of it and send it to your agent. Um it looses the suction when all the sweat etc o\from your head builds up on it. What you do (this will sound weird but works very well) is put a teaspon of baking soda inside the cap and add water to make it like a paste. Spread it around the cap and leave it on for 5 mins thi\en rinse off. It will gop back to being just as sticky as before as the baking soda eats off all the sweat etc. You can add more baking soda if you need more to cover the cap. Let me know how it goes ok? xxx

OMG I got a few sympathy smiles today when I had to go to hospital to collect some tablets and was thinking wtf.. I haven't got cancer, but just smile back lol.

yeah tell me about it, this weather is so awful... I think our summer is over, but i hope not :( I mean outside they're lots of fallen leaves on the ground, but its not autumn... must be global warming :S lol.

ooh I really really want to go to California. I bet the weather is amazingly good right now too. I'm dead jealous now haha. This summer I've got to complete a little to-do list which includes getting a driving license hopefully, getting a paying job and other stuff. I may also be going to NY sometime in august but its not confirmed yet. I really hope I do go because I haven't been there and I've only heard good things from my mates.

Aside from that, probably going for nights out to town and chilling with friends but that's standard.. oh and in september I've got to do a little uni based work experience before I go back. That's about it I think :)

Well I'm sure you'll have a brill time in LA and deffo tell me how it was when your back :)

lol sounds fun.

yeah alopecia is a funny thing.. its made me realise how a lot of people are shallow and judge people on appearances, either overtly or subconsciously. i admit when i had hair i used to be one of those people and a lot of my friends fit in that category too :/ but since having its like i understand we shouldn't judge just on looks and maybe its like karma or a lesson in life or something haha.

well i currently don't have a gf but i don't mind that much tbh. i think having no hair definitely affects how the majority of people will look at you, like on nights out and stuff... plus since having this condition its kinda knocked my confidence a lot :(

but having said that you seem to be coping really well and yeah i can guess guys will be shallow but i'm sure they're some good people out there who will like you for YOU and not just ur hair so don't let it get you down :)

and yep i've lived in london all my life :) how about you?

haha i'm good thank you :) and i was in a band but that went no where. the band i'm with in that pic is a band called "hit the lights" you should check them out!!

the alopecia started in october 2007 which was the most stressful time of my life. i was severely depressed too and it made it worse when i discovered a smooth bald patch on the back of my head.. it then progressed and i shave bits and bobs now but im pretty much left with very little hair. meh!! what can you do. its like i've got a new identity now, and people always check my ID twice LOL :P

anyway enough with me writing my life story.. how are you? :) x x
