About Me:: I'm 14 years old and have had Alopecia since I was 12. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, music, youth events, and of course being with my family.:) My best friend Lindy has helped me through alot of my hard times. She always makes me laugh when I'm having a bad day, and is a great Christian friend. I'm blessed to have a boyfriend that loves me the way I am to be loved. Sometimes it even seems like he wears my wig more than I do.lol He means the world to me and I love him Bunches!

The way I see myself

When I first found out that I had Alopecia I didn't see myself the same. I automatically saw myself as someone not as good as everyone else, and for me, like it probably was for you, it was hard. I think by having Alopecia it helped me to pray more and have a better relationship with God. But in the last couple of days I have learned not to think negative things about myself. Becasue when I do, i'm insulting ,My Creator, God.
