About Me:: I have had alopecia since i was 8,at one time i was trying to become a wig model. I wanted to become a wig model to motivate young women with alopecia.But lately I have been thinking about going to school for cosmotology. I want to be able to give people the support or help that I needed. Especially, when i was trying to find a way to make me feel complete. I'm currently in school taking up pre-med praying to become a dermatologist. Me growing up with alopecia has made me want to help people with alopecia. Mainly children, kids can be sooo mean if they dont know why this little girl is wearing a wig or why this little boy has no eyebrows. With me accepting the fact I have alopecia, my life has been great. Every body has at least one person they remember that either educated them about this or helped them with the resource. Thats what i want, to be the person that people will remember.

No one educated me on Alopecia when I was a little girl, my family just loved me and it gave me the confidence to be who I am now. I feel just as comfortable in a wig as I do when I have a freshly shaved head. You have wonderful goals, I'll be here routing for you!
