I'm so sorry you and your princess are going through this. It might help to get my book, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" A lot of moms have written to me, telling me it has helped them and their daughters. Check it out on my page and click the link at the bottom if you want to read more and/or buy it...let me know.

Thank you so much for the welcome. I am just trying to make sense of alopecia and finding a way my daughter doesn't have to suffer with this condition. Thank you for your support. I look forward to the information I will find on this site.

I totally understand. I've talked to a lot of moms, and your experience is the norm. There are so many resources now, which is helpful. The best thing is to make sure your daughter knows she is perfect and whole, no matter what is happening with her hair...

Hi Vickie,
How is your little girl doing with alopecia? Sometimes it's harder for the parents than it is for the kids.
