Acceptence

I discovered this site by doing a web search and came upon it. I would like to share with you how I deal with this condition. As a boy growing up into my teens I had bald spots here and there, the hair grew back, but the being teased part I never fully understood why it happened. It's interesting that you'd never come across alopecia before that customer asked you about it. but I guess if you'd never known or met anyone with it then there's no reason why you should have.
I knew about it well before it affected me because there was a guy where I used to work who'd had it all his life, everyone knew about it, though nobody ever seemed to talk about it. Little did I realise then that it would affect me too. Although I still see him about occasionally, I haven't seen him since I got AU, so that will be interesting when I do meet him, I'd love to chat to him about it.
