Well Ive been in this bar a couple of time since Ive got my wig and mostly everybody knew about it and noone really cares. I live in a little county where everyone knows everyone and if you dont, you know someone who knows everyone. Well there was this old guy there who asked me if I was dying of cancer and I had to ask him why he thought that. He…

First of all I would like to thank every one on this sight for helping through the whole wig and men process. I have went on so many dates and talk to so many men since I got my new hair. I have learned to deal with the whole AA thing. Its a piece of cake now, a walk in the park. The main thing I have learned no matter if you got a full head of hair or no hair at all it depends on your self. It is all in the attitude. I have become such flirt. If you meet a man and he cant deal with the hair iss…

We're having a Bald Girls Do Lunch "dinner" on July 15th in Louisville, KY. Look foward to meeting you then. The venue is being firmed up, so as soon as it's posted we'll put it on our group page here and on our events calendar at baldgirlsdolunch.org, so check there. Or, just send a request to info@baldgirlsdolunch.org and we'll send the details right to you. Be sure to add us to your white pages to avoid the spam filters.
Wow, I know what the deal is about dating and being afraid to have a man find out about your hair (or no hair)! After nearly 30 years with AA, I wrote a book about stuff like that with advice and personal experiences from a lot of other women like you and me, of varying ages. It also has makeup and wig tips, and lots of good info -- and it's fun to read! It's called, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!"
If you are interested, go to my page. There's a web site at the bottom: www.leslieannbutler.npauthors.com. If you click on it, you will get to my author web site and be able to read more about the book, and order if you want to.
Let me know how it goes with the guy!
