Could you wear your hair out the way that it was or were you just wearing hats, ect? I'm at the point now where I'm not too comfortable going out without something to cover. I have hair that I can clip into my own, but my doctor says that I cant wear them because of the pressure on the hair. So what do I do? Wear a stupid ball cap everyday? I dont know what to do. I'm not brave enough to walk around bald!

I did go to the doctor, he's in Dallas. His name is Dr. Whiting. I'm going back on Sept. 2nd. for more shots. So how long did you wait for to go to the doctor. I guess I waited about a month or so until I started to see doctors. Do you have a wig and if so, did you get it in Texas? I have never heard that the shots will stop it, but I did hear that once you start them, you cant stop or you will go AT, AU!! Have you heard of that?! I'm so stressed out about it!!

She is equally looking forward to that too. If you have any specific questions let me know. The DCP and SADBE are very similar treatments, but from what I know the chemical is a bit different and it is applied differently. I have to say Sam's doctors have been very diligent and we had to work our way up to a quarter size and they won't go bigger then that at a time. She has had a few harsh reactions but nothing out of control and Sam and the doctors have really worked through it. Samantha really tolerates the effects of the treatment because she sees it is working and won't give up...Hope you are enjoying summer..Cindy
