Why is bald always "beautiful"

Hiya

Yup, Bald men can be handsome, haha beautiful isnt the right word ey.
And of course AU men can be attractive for women.
i'll speak for my self and simply can add, I dont care what hair or lack of hair a man has.
As long as he got a personality which will attrack me and gives me a good feeling, i could be attracted to that person.
The AU wouldnt attrack me though, nor would any colour eyes, nor any hair or no hair, etc etc

I think beautiful is usually used simply because women need so much reassurance. As I've recently discovered however, men are quite sensitive about alopecia as well and you are right, bald shouldn't just be beautiful. It should be bodacious, boss, sexy whatever! Personally seeing a few men with alopecia for the first time, I can say what attracts me to them is the clean shave no other man could ever obtain! I also can't stand a whole bunch of body hair, especially chest, shoulder, back and bum hairs. In no offense to my hubby, cause he's wonderful, I'd probably have married an alopecian man had I met one earlier! So for all you alopecian men - bald is boss! ;)

I was going to say that "beautiful" will naturally follow from "bald" as it gives us that tasty aliteration bonus, but "boss" works equally well. Thanks! :)

I am not going to lie, bald men are not beautiful -- they're downright sexy! When I see a bald man, until I discovered Alopecia World it would never have occurred to me to consider that they might have or have had alopecia. They always looked so smooth and so just well-put together that I started drooling off top!!!

So how about bald is "badass"? :)

I really like this reply, it encompasses everything needed to be said. Beautiful does apply for men AND women. It truly is its own concept.

Well I have to say first that for me, no joke, it doesn't matter what a man looks like, attraction is attraction and you can't stop it. And I love a man for his personality. But I have always loved the look of a bald man, and I don't think it makes a difference if a man has AU. Yes bald is handsome. I just think that the beautiful part is stressed more because it IS naturally acceptable for a man to be bald. We love you bald men, you are handsome, you are sexy, you are amazing.

one thing i can say about men with au.. they have a nice clean head! i have always liked guys with short hair.. and this way you dont have to make them get a hair cut! haha

Nope ya don't have to pressure them to get a hair cut or trim up the bushy eyebrows or shave LMAO. I am not AU and dont know if I will ever be but man I have found that the goatee I had can play hell on a womans face. Sorry to all my ex's that had to suffer through that LOL.

I'm telling you, you of all people don't have to worry about whether someone finds you hot or not, bald or not, because you are downright SMOKIN!!! Bald is boss, badass, beautiful, brave, bold, bitchin -- you name it, it is definitely that!!!
