Question about Vacuum Wigs

Hi, I was thinking of getting a vacuum wig. I heard they fit secure and cannot be pulled off. Well that's what I hear anyway. I work at at special needs school, I work with 7th-8th grade children with severe behavioral problems, some with mental illness as well. My job can get pretty rough and physical and I was trying to find a wig that could not be pulled off or come off during a crisis. They love to go for the hair. Do you think that type of wig would hold up or is there something else out there.

Well, I wear a vacuum wig and it stays put. It takes a lot to get it to fall off. They can come loose when you eat a meal but only you notice the slight air bubble. All you have to do is pretend your fixing your hair and push the bubble out. I love my vacuum wig but they are expensive, heavier and hot to wear in the summer.

The first time I lost all my hair I got a vacuum wig. They do stay put and will not come off. I remember being 12 years old with a wet wash rag under my vacuum wig because if was so hot and it still didnt come off. I would invest in one if I could.

Hi Denise
Why don't you have a chat to Anna Fitzpatrick. She will tell you about them as she wears them. She's on the homepage.

I just got mine and I don't think it's hot at all...no hotter than my natural hair was...and no...it doesnt come off unless I put my fingers underneath it. I would invest in one..I love mine.

Hi i think that a vacuum wig migth be just what you need. You need to get the fit right, and to put it on so that you expel as much air as possible - but it is ultra secure so should be fine for your job. I do find mine very hot, went on holiday recently and it was 39 deg and I thought my brain was going to be broiled! but I am a hot person anyway. Security is first class. The other one that I am finding out about at the moment is the one made by NuHair technology. But I am becoming more aware the more women I speak with that there are others out there in the wider marketplace, not advertised as vacuum as such but they have similar properties, I think! Good luck and best wishes Welshcakes

Hi, you will love the vacuum wig, so please at least call one or more of the dealers advertising on this site for a consultation.
