wearing wig little uncomfortable for day or long time, I would suggest visit best doctor clinic and get some suggestion to reduce spot on bald. Hair transplant treatment might be help you to cure this problem.

Hi Karen! I was reading your post on Swimming in wigs and would you be able to tell me what wig she has? I am desperate to take my son swimming and not worry about my hair coming off. also does she just use 2 sided tape?
Thank you!

I was reading some of the info on this site and came across a post that said that you buy your daughters wigs online for a good price. Can you send methe link. I also sent you a friend request. The wig I bought about a year ago was $1500 and it was long and human hair but I was thinking of getting a shorter one because they seem to be a little easier to deal with. Thanks for the info

Hi Karen, it seems that I have the same query as Cathy Clark in regards to the wig company you mentioned. The only difference is that I wear light blonde to strawberry coloured hair. Any help is much appreciated.

Can you send the info or link for the lace wigs you have mentioned. I think you said that it is possible to get these wigs in European hair-what price range is that. Is their order form or ordering process easy or a bit tricky, as some are. I worry most about color-since I am Caucasian and wear medium blond highlighted wigs.Any info much appreciated.

hi karen.i wanted to "friend" you b'c i feel as though our journey has been similar over the past year. my daughter's hair fell out june '09 in about 10 days (she was 15yo). it was by far the worst week of my life. she wore a hat for the first year pulled down over her ears and forehead.she is coping very well and i'm extremely proud of her. not a minute goes by that i don't think about her.i still don't sleep soundly at night. i would love to chat with you on the phone some day if you were up to it. she doesn't know i'm on aw and i'm even under an alias name. we don't talk about "it" at all and really don't even say "alopecia".right now she is wearing 2 cyberhair pieces that are a shade apart. she really wants a human hair piece. we were in nyc this w/e visiting and made an appt there w/ an amazing salon owner that's been working with hair pieces for over 20 yrs. he didn't want to sell us anything b'c we don't live close enough for him to service it. there was also an event sponsored by the nyc alopecia support group "bald girls do lunch" that we couldn't make at shevy salon in brooklyn with a celebrity hair stylist and shevy emmanuel herself. supposedly, the salon, which is 4,000 sqft, has the biggest available selection of hair pieces in the world. i really wanted to bring her there but it was after we left for home. this site has been a savior to me as well. it would be really great to connect with you and share.....i hope to hear from you someday. i hope you and your daughter and family have a happy holiday w/e next week. i imagine she is coming home from college. you must be really looking forward to that.take good care.:)
