Wigs wigs wigs...

Gosh, sometimes I get so sick of wigs, I live in a really small town, it's pretty obvious I wear a wig.
It's even worse when the "children" here think its funny to pull it off in public *twitch*.

I'm sixteen, I know it sounds immature but I really dislike people who make fun.
Tease, pull and jerk off my wig, call me baldy etc.
And decent wigs are so expensive...

I looked into a vacuum wig that wouldn't come off when someone pulled it.
4100$,
good lord!

What I'd give to have that kind of money u.u
Oh well,

Does anyone know of any sites that has really good, realistic looking wigs?
Not just mono-top but something that actually looks real, and is also affordable?

I wear a wig everyday, but if I take off my hat it looks really fake,
This is me and my best friend.

See that's why you need to live down here with me and get out of that small town..Just yesterday I saw over 10 women with no hair,they looked gorgeous and the best part no one even looked at them funny.

a vacuum wig,4100$,hnn... too expensive(at least for me)...I just have a mono-top wig using human hair(290$),it could allows you use hair styling jelly or something like that make a fashion style.maybe you live in a really small town,it's the biggest problem not your wig...（my English...hnn...maye you couldn't understand it...hnn...-_-!)

I cannot believe people think its okay to snatch your wig off. I wore a full lace wig in high school. I used the bond or tape for it to stay on. They have come down considerably in price since then. I cannot believe they think its okay to snatch your wig off. You are not being immature regarding your feelings of being made fun of. You are human and very young I can't believe those kids get away with doing that.

I am so sorry to hear this. I use Paula Young wigs. Most people cannot believe I am wearing a wig. I guess it is because you live in a small town and people already know your are bald that it is impossibe for you to live in peace. There is a glue that you can order on line. Its called It Stays! Body Adhesive. It washes off with water. Just google it. There are a number of ways to order. It costs about $8 to $10. It works. There are other adhesives that are bit harsher to use and get off that actors use for their wigs on stage and in movies. They are okay but as I said they are harsher to get off.
It is easier for me to say but just hang in there life does get better if you stay positive and work to get the heck out of your small town. Set your goals and save your money even if it is $5 a week. Just save it and when you can move to some place where people are more open and accepting. Whether you wear a wig or not. Blessings, Karen
