Today my husband is finally putting up my face with my brother in-law, this means I can finally go out in my yard without anyone staring at me and wondering whats on my head!!!
this way I can start slowly to get out of the house wearing my wig or turban!
may i also start my therapy which is suppose to help me deal with stress, anxiety, self-esteem etc, I am really hoping all this works out for me, because I am tired of being sad, alone and feeling like there is no hope for me at all
I want to get through this no matter what I have to do!!

My turning point came when I actually met other people with alopecia after not knowing a soul for 43 years. It was with the hilarious San Francisco support group, with my family, at a Giant's baseball tailgate party, then baseball game. What a way to see that one can laugh and have fun, even with hair loss! Next was the NAAF conference with my children after my ex left, which helped my sons to accept me (after they had a blast with the teen group, even though my kids had hair themselves). I highly suggest finding a local support group, or traveling to one.
