Sick of wearing hats, they're hot...so I thought a wig would be better

Hi all you beautiful people , so as you know I was dx with alopecia areata over a month a ago. I was given liquid steroids that gave me such a headache that I thought my brain was going to explode, I was done with that. I will not not do the injections. You see I also have cerebral palsy and I have been getting botx for my CP for as long as I can remember, so injections in my head sorry no thanks..

my favorite from the dr is "it doesn't hurt, yes I dout that..so As you also know I have a light sensitivity, in my offie I have lighjts above me and when the sun its my bald top scap forget it, so I wear hats ..

being here in ny we hit 80-90degress on a daily basis so a hat is hot but I deal its better than the burning ...

so last week I bought my first wig online ...while its great quality synthetic and looks nice, its to long and doesnt match my color. I am debating wearing it just till I can afford a diffrent color and shorter, to match my regular hair color better

any suggestions ?

thanks my loves,

will post wig photo later ..<3

Hi! I also bought a few wigs online, but they are all too big and pungent :-) Now I wear headscarfs or hooded pullovers. Its very comfortable and they are in so many colors and styles. Some people think I just wear them for fun and they make compliments how nice my headscarfs are :-) much better than the pitying glances. Just try it!
