It's Hair Loss Support At Its Best
I am having a bit of a problem at the moment. Usually I'm ok with my alopecia, especially since the weather has cooled down and I can wear wigs again without feeling like I'm going to melt away.
But recently, like so many others, I've become addicted to Game of Thrones and The Borgias, two wonderful HBO shows that I think everyone should watch if they like quality drama (and especially if they like pretty costumes and great swordfights).
Everyone, that is, except alopecians. OH DEAR GOD THE HAIR. The hair is so utterly beautiful, almost without exception, on all the main characters, male and female, but the most beautiful hair is of course sported by the young female characters such as Daenerys Targaryen, Catelyn Stark, Cersei Lannister and Melisandre from GoT, and by Lucrezia, her mother Vanozza and Giulia Farnese in The Borgias.
Now, I am quite aware that these wonderfully long, luscious, rich, wavy locks are mostly wigs.
But I don't care. Because wigs that are that good are well, well out of most alopecian womens' price range. The white-blonde one for Daenerys in GoT alone reportedly cost $7000.
But I'm addicted... and so I watch... and weep... and turn green with envy.
