Funny thing, I have an adorable Pomeranian, now 9 years old, who also has alopecia. Poor thing was almost completely bare except for his head, legs and spine (called him Spike for awhile), but his hair grew back. He just has a little bit left to fill in on his butt (his longish fur covers it up; talk about comb overs) It was probably due to changing his diet a bit. No more wet dog food for dinner, he usually got a scrambled egg (lots of vitamins & protein) on most days (with his dry food always available). I've been trying to eat an egg or two a day for a while now, but it's not working for me. Maybe it's because I weigh more than 8 pounds? Heck, I'll try anything. I've been doing DCP (3% now) treatments weekly/bi-weekly for about 13 years. Apparently they still haven't come up with anything new to treat and definitely no cure, still. Has anyone had any success with any treatments? Please, I'll try almost anything, barring putting any kind of excrement on my head (goes without saying, but still). I've been thinking about trying to add some testosterone somehow (it makes guys hairy) because I may have too much estrogen (I've got Endometriosis; it feeds on estrogen and also makes its own estrogen [and it hurts like...]) Hey, why have only one disease when you can have more? I also get lovely migraines! It's raining tonight, so time for a happy pill. :)

His name is Bunny, because in winter he leaps like a rabbit in the snow.
