I have been living with alopecia for 28 years and only in the last 1 1/2 yrs have I come to accept and embrace who I am.

Hi Terri
I have dealt with AA off and on for about 20 years the last four I have had Universalis. I think I just had a bad day. I get the poor me's every now and then. I did some whining in the previous blog oh well LOL. So do you wear a wig, scarf or natural. I do natural when around family or at home.

Hiya Donna..... how are you today? hey it's alright to have a good ole whinge, I know I have since my journey with alopecia began in July 2011! I lost all my head hair within 10 days then by the end of Sept I'd lost my lashes, brows and the res! I'm training to be a Nurse and had to start my ward placement when this began... The looks and comments from patients and staff hurt but moreso with stares and double looks from the general public! But hey ho what can we do except for stay strong and ensure we get support from others :)

MyShoCorona...how are you today. I am fine . I watched the Whitney Houston Funeral. Went to the Doctor today.I am a nurse. Go to school and kick some butt. Where are you? You know I wig it , in summer I wear hats ans scarfs. An Etheopian nurse gave me some tips on tieing them.At home the wig goes on the back of the couch or on its stand. I havent any brows or lashes. alot in common. Donna write soon
