in need of a friend
i think it would be nice to find a friend here in san diego county that can understand, discuss, and share our experiences with alopecia. i currently have patchy hair loss but after shaving and understanding that this disorder is so unpredictable, id almost rather lose all my hair so i wouldnt have to deal with growing hair over spots or shaving my head and exposing them to people that just dont understand.

Hey...go find a store that sells men's crusher, packer and fedora hats. I'll bet other alopecian men shop there, and you could maybe leave info for the support group you attend.

Hi saungho:) I live in san Diego and I have had alopecia areata since I was 8 years old. I am happy to know that you are also in the area. I have tried to find other people that live in san Diego that have the same issues. I even made a group for san Diego alopecians and so far I am still the only member. I recently moved to mission valley I was born and raised in san Diego. Alopecia areata has been on and off since I was a child going to school was hard for me. Now I am 31 years old and alopecia came back hard core! I lost all my hair now I have lost my eyebrow and eye lashes, just on my left side. I now have au and I have been using natural remedies extra virgin coconut oil on my scalp.

Hi pauline have gone to the support group meetings in mission valley? There's a social gathering at on the border I'm going to attend that you should go!

It would be cool to meet ya, i went to my first group meeting this mont and it was so nice talking to someone that is also going though the same CRAP! I saw your group I'll join yours if you join mine haha
