If Alopecia World is important to you, then here's what we need from you

Dear Member,

Alopecia World has become an invaluable resource to the alopecia community because of the contributions of each and every one of its members.

It is you who provide the kind of information, inspiration and interaction that draw alopecians from around the world to our beloved community and keeps them coming back for more.

Therefore, Cheryl and I are grateful beyond words for your positive presence on AlopeciaWorld.com and hope that you will increase your participation.

We also need your help to get the word out about AlopeciaWorld.com to as many Internet users as possible.

As you know, a series of unfortunate events forced Alopecia World to move from its old dotcom address to www.alopeciaworld.com.

In light of this development, we are contacting our friends all over the Web and asking them not only to update their link(s) to Alopecia World, but to also place a link to AlopeciaWorld.com on their websites, blogs, and social networking profiles on sites like Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter.

We need you to do the same.

Presently, we hardly reach a fraction of the millions and millions of people who only wish they could find an online resource like Alopecia World.

Just by putting a link to AlopeciaWorld.com wherever you can, you can play an important part in helping us to reach them.

Of course, we are NOT asking you to spam anyone anywhere.

We just need you to do everything you reasonably can to let others know how important AlopeciaWorld.com is to you.

Neither they nor you will be disappointed, if you do.

With great appreciation and anticipation,

Cheryl and rj jones, Founders

I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your web provider. I'm behind AlopeciaWorld.com completely, and I hope the transition goes smoothly for you. I've added the new website to my International Alopecia Day video on YouTube. I just shared your Facebook post on my Facebook page. Everyone should do it! Good luck!

ALOPECIAWORLD.COM RULZ OK! When I couldnt get in to the old .com site, I wondered for a milisecond..."but where are all my friends". Then quickly, i realised, us Alopecians dont stay down for long...we will find a way! We may get knocked down, but we know its about getting back up again, dusting ourselves off and becoming better versions of our former selves. You guys are my friends...my sisters & brothers who live inside my heart and who I sincerley hope to meet in person one day! xx

ALOPECIA WORLD ROCKS! It's the best thing that has happened to me in dealing with my alopecia. It has helped me be more accepting and it has given me courage just by knowing that I am not the only one dealing with alopecia.

I had been off the site for a week because of my mom's illness and when I could not get on for a couple of days, I was sad but did not panic. If that had happened this time last year, I would have fallen apart. This site helped me so much at the beginning and I hope to help others now. By the way, I found you again through twitter.
