Lately I have been trying to decide what in the world I want to do with my life. I tend to change my mind every few minutes haha.
I have a hairdressing background and think I am going to start selling wigs, it makes sense really, and I already do nails so I could just do it along with that I suppose.. I however don't have my full hairdressing license so I can't technically style them, with the way our laws are here.. silly I know..
but anyway anyone have any imput?? I would LOVE to help others look and feel good about their hair!!
I have thought about it for years but lately I feel like.. why not..
however on my other lists of things I would like to do are: Educational Assistant (I have been volunteering at my sons school and love it), writer (something I used to do a lot of and would like to again), photography (I just love it), and a list of random things from Lingerie store clerk to Wetland Conservation and Vet assistant.. haha.. yep, you can see where I confuse myself.
Anyway I just wanted to get my thoughts out. I will figure it all out someday!
Either way I am going to learn photography for fun, take some creative writing classes, all over time of course, but I think as long as you are doing stuff you love, even as hobbies, you will be happy.

Have a great night all :)

Yeah I think so, the girl I first saw when I was losing hair was a Wig Specialist or something, there is no specific training or anything, but as I said here to actually cut and style them you need a hairdressing license, I took the training but didn't do my apprenticeship.
So anyway I love the idea of helping people deal with their hair loss..

yep there is such thing as a wig consultant, i guess they would call that a hairdresser for wigs, that wouldn't be a bad profession to have at all

Thank you Dan! Those words are very kind, they made me smile. I recently have become very interested in anything to do with a vet office as well. I am going to volunteer at one and see how that goes I think. I will always do photography and hope to develop it better and better over time. Same as the writing. I need to think a bit more but I am slowly finding my path.

Well, I'm older than you and trying to find my path too! Lol. I think volunteering at any place or in any activity that interests you is always a good idea. You might find when you investigate wigs - you would want to be able to cut them. Or maybe you'd discover pitfalls that wouldn't interest you. The vet office is an interesting place too - I hope the volunteering goes well.

My experience has been even if you don't find exactly what you WANT TO DO, you sometimes find out what you certainly don't want to do! Good luck!
