Over the past few months, my hair has started growing back. I have AU, but out of no where a good amount of hair popped up on my chest...and then i have about 75% regrowth on my head. No eye brows or eyelashes or anything yet. Does anyone know if this is a sign of recovery or just a false sense of hope? Any tales you've heard or articles you've read?

Now, that is exciting news! Have you been doing anything differently with your diet or lifestyle>

As we all know, alopecia is so unpredictable...Hopefully, this is a sign that your immune system quits attacking your hair follicles.
For the past year and a half I've had regrowth too. About 80%. That said I have been recently having small patches reappear.

It sometimes stays. This is a great sign and hopefully it will continue.

I have also had hair regrowth mostly back to where we started on the head. only thing its mostly white and seems to have lost the curl it had before. body hair is very spotty and seems to have a new texture. I got my eyebrows and lashes back with in 3 or 4 months after they fell out.(for me that was the hardest, loosing those.) Keep us posted.
