Yeah, read that title again -- you didn't miss anything. I just got a wig today. It's the first new wig I've bought in 4 years. It's a Rene of Paris Amore Monofilament wig. For those of you who like it, the style is Erika and the color is Iced Mocha (which is basically brunette with blonde streaks.) Here's a picture below:

Forgive me if my skin looks a little splotchy; I got sick last night and when that happens my skin tends to show the broken blood vessels more clearly. I'll post another picture without me wearing a hoodie and with proper makeup shortly.

Please, everyone let me know what you think of it. Does it make me look older, younger, face thinner, etc.

Have a great weekend!

You look great! "Erika" was my first, and my favorite wig - when I was still trying to wear them. I had it trimmed a little in front of the ears, and loved how it looked. A few months ago, I gave it to a dear friend who is battling cancer. Here she is behind me and to the left of the photo in the blue shirt wearing it at a folk dance event:

In or "out", it's about choice. Enjoy!

Hay Kaz,
Your wig looks so natural.. Have you had it thinned out ? If not well done for finding a company that dont make wiggy looking wigs... Lets hope this one lasts you another 4+ years..
Bless you for sharing this with everyone,
Julie.

Julie - when I owned the Rene of Paris "Erika" wig, I didn't find that it needed to be thinned out. It looked very natural. Some that I tried from other companies definitely looked too thick and wiggy.

Julie -- this wig didn't have to be thinned out at all. The only thing I had done was have the bangs cut just a touch so they wouldn't be falling into my eyes. I'll keep the wig probably through the winter; I've had the wig since Saturday and it's itching me like crazy! @ Carol: Not a traitor, but I do get a real kick out of pulling it off in the car in the middle of traffic -- it freaks everyone out and gets me a cheap laugh!!
