This may sound, well . . . I don't really know how it will sound to any of you, but I hope not offensive in any way! I had cervical cancer in 2012, went through chemo and radiation and had a hysterectomy, and was clear until this year, when a routine scan showed nodules in my lungs. This is the same kind of cancer as before, just having returned in the lungs. I am undergoing chemo therapy now, and have just lost my hair. I didn't lose it in 2012, because of being treated with a different drug at that time. (Haven't gotten to the Fun part yet, obviously.)

What I interpret as "Fun" is having new experiences (scans, MRI's, good drugs during surgery), meeting new, Amazing and Wonderful people! Losing weight ( I have always had problems with my weight, and this is in NO way a recommended diet!) But, for me, being skinny is new and, in a way, also Fun - don't have to watch what I eat (except to make sure I eat as healthily as possible, of course!). For the first time in my life, I have to be sure and eat Enough!!

More Fun: seeing myself bald for the first time! HA HA - it's pretty funny!! And, since I am bald, I get to buy stuff for bald people - like scarves and caps and hats and wigs - and for me, shopping is a Lot of Fun, especially on E-Bay!!!

I plan to add pictures in the future of my head and face made up to look like a "Grey" alien and also a Lightbulb! So, Fun with makeup and pictures!!

Even more fun--finding things to make me laugh, because I Love to laugh, and laughter is good "medicine." My current favorite laughter-producing tv show is "Big Bang Theory!" It tickles my funnybone on several levels: I am a Star Trek and Sci-Fi fan, so all those references are hilarious, plus I have a fondness for Nerds and scientifically-minded people, and the cast is just plain Brilliant!!

Will write more as soon as I have more Fun to add, and will add pictures.

Have a Great Day, all of you!! Carol : D

I am so sorry to hear you have cancer, again. I love Big Bang Theory also. I watch reruns at night so I go to bed with a good laugh.  Love your positive attitude, and wish you the absolute BEST.
