Do any of you have elevated ANA? Mine started out mildly elevated and now is very high but I've been tested for several diseases and al negative .. I did however, notice when I attempted gluten free my ANA was at its lowest.. I went back to gluten and it has been consistently elevated .. I also had extremely low vitamin D and was under a ridiculous amount of stress and had just had major surgery 3-4 months before I lost my hair so I'm not quite sure which triggered it but was curious if any of you all with Alopeica had elevated ANa

I was tested when I was in the midst of losing most of my hair, and my ANA was normal. It was both frustrating and relieving to have lost my hair, much of my pigment, and be hypothyroid, and, by all the obvious tests, to be perfectly healthy. (I do think I was anemic, though my results were at the bottom of normal, and I suspect that could have contributed to my hair loss.)

I've had some regrowth, but it is white and perhaps only 20% of my scalp hair, also some body hair regrowth. I'm not optimistic about stopping the autoimmune attack, though if I can avoid more debilitating autoimmune issues, I'll be content. Good luck with the regrowth.

What are ANA?

It's antinuclear antibodies .. When it's elevated it means autoantibodies are present

Find an allergist and see if you have mold gluten or sulpha allergies.
