This Sunday after Church a young girl came up to me and wanted to introduce me to her friend. The girl informatively said, "she has the other type of chemo." It was so hard for me not to giggle. My little friend knew I wasn't sick, and she constructed a creative introduction.

Oh that brought tears of joy to my eyes! Thank you for sharing. I sometimes have a very pronounced limp because of a massive car wreck years ago. I was the children's choir director and instead of telling them exactly what happened when I was casted I said "my legs don't work right." One little girl introduced me to her mother that way. :-D

"the other type of chemo" That's so funny. How cute are kids!

Kids have such a unique way of explaining things. I worked for a youth program about 15 years ago and after a while, they just loved explaining my alopecia to the new kids. The usual was that I was allergic to my hair. I loved it. :)
