Bald mice get hair - but new discovery may not apply to AA

FYI, I heard about this yesterday on the news. Reseachers stumbled upon something that grew hair on bald mice...but note the comment below. Here are a couple of links to the same story:

"But Dr. George Cotsarelis, chairman of the dermatology department at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, said any treatment developed from the research would probably be useful only for hair loss related to stress, likes that caused by one-time events, rather than as a treatment for genetic baldness."

As far as I know, AA is genetic, so this probably won't help us grow hair. Also, a radio commentator mentioned that it might not just grow hair on the HEAD in humans.
