"I just read on a wig site: Use cream type conditioners that do NOT contain Lanolin, polymers, or heavy oils (causes matting in human hair) Does yours contain one or more of these ingredients? Could that be the cause? Could a bleach bath restore…"

Puffy wig crown

Can anyone give me some advice on what to do with a wig that has become 'puffy' at the crown.The wig is a human hair wig, a Yaffa, and although I was warned not to get conditioner at the top of the wig to avoid this from happening, I did. I was told that conditioner will do something to the knots to cause this. It happened to a wig I had before and after 'disecting' the top to see what had happened I could see that it had almost become a 'rats nest' between the mono top and underneath…See More
