Ouch, I sure remember the days of getting injections in my scalp. I tell ya, there are few things that I have experienced that hurt as much or more than this.

Real men of substance who know how to truly love and adore bald or alopecic women without reducing them to fetishes. Women, this group is also open to you, but it's primary focus is single and married men who love you for all the right reasons!

Do you and your partner ever joke about your alopecia?

Yes, Thea, and I truly feel that it's hilariously absurd to think that bald can't be beautiful. :-)

Do you and your partner ever joke about your alopecia?

Alexandra and Merryberry, I certainly agree with both of you. That's why I try to avoid getting my laughs at someone else's expense, especially my alopecic and adorable wife. In keeping with this, it…

Yesterday, while sitting in church and "listening" to the sermon, I leaned over and whispered in Cheryl's ear. "Hey, I just noticed something about you." "What?" she responded. "You don't have any…

What to Tell My Daughter?

Sharing this coloring book with your daughter and her schoolmates may help. It would also help to speak with the wonderful people at the Children Alopecia Project.

How to compliment someone with alopecia?

As a non-alopecian, I'm curious: If people would like to compliment your "look," how would you like them to do so? I mean, if it's specifically your "hairstyle" or lack thereof that they like, what's the best for them to tell you this without offending or upsetting you?

What I think about you!

I can't help it. I just love this amazing support community and the invaluable contributions that so many of you make to it. Not only do I appreciate each and every one of you, but I truly admire you as well. Your compassion, your courage, your resiliency, and your determination inspire me in more ways than I can count or chronicle. I will always be profoundly grateful, not only for what you've made Alopecia World, but even more so for what you're making of yourself. :-)
