- i started getting alopecia when i was in the sixth grade.i really hated it . it started out as just patches on my head, but now in recent years , my body is pretty much hairless. a few years ago i also had a brain tumor removed and now im doing fine. i am really good at dealing with my emotions towards my problems now ,but would really like to meet new people with the same problem. i am really a shy guy to be around, but once you get to know me ,i can really be fun to hang out with. please email me anytime.

hello fellow friends, how ru all? im new to th alopecia world, but am lookin forward to making alot of new friends. i have had areata since the sixth grade nd through the years i have grown to pretty much no hair whatsoever. its not a bad thing at all. i pretty much just think that people with hair look funny lol.

Ironically, having alopecia has brought some amazing opportunities into her life. She has shared her story in the local media numerous times and is a Kid Caster on Radio Disney. Last year we wrote/produced a music video to create awareness for alopecia and bullying. You can view "I Could Be Great!" on Olivia's profile page under 'my videos'. Let us know if we can do anything to help you.
