Hi There
I am new to this and have a 12 year old and his hair is rapidly leaving before our eyes. A friend of mine sends her 12 year old to Colombia Presbyterian in NYC and the treatment there is shots every two weeks. I am on the west coast and doctors advise every 4 weeks. Does anyone have info about this? Her dr. claims the frequent shots can help shut down the immune reaction and actually help stop the loss as it is occurring. Hi All
Not sure if I am in the right place, I saw there was an area for parents. My son is 12 and is losing large areas of hair now on the side of his head - it happened rather slowly, and we thought it was triciliomania, since he was pulling it. Now however it is coming out in clumps. I am trying not to alarm him, but it seems to only be speeding up.
