- I'm 18 years old and bald.
I rather be bald than to have my thinning, awful, and ugly looking hair.
(Wigs are much more nicer and I get loads of compliments).
I've been losing hair since I hit puberty and I believe someone else in my family (a female) lost her hair too. It has been a long battle trying to make my hair grow back and for it to look thick, but nothing has worked, so I have given up. (It's not a bad thing because I'm actually excited to shave all my hair off). My boyfriend has the hair of the relationship and I bet he's proud. I try to look at the positives now of losing my hair, especially the wigs.
I have been recently diagnosed with female pattern baldness.
Other things about me:
I have seizures- Complex Partial Seizures
(I've had this problem along with hair loss since I hit puberty, around 10-11 years old)
I have three fake teeth
I have a slip disc and spine fracture (no surgery, thank goodness)
I'm a very proud vegan and it does not contribute to my hair loss!
Being vegan would of tributed to very shiny, thick, curly hair...

So far, it does not seem to phase my daughter too much. Did you ever try minoxidil? Our doctor recommended it for her but I don't know what's best.

- Hey, I'm sorry I took so long. Every time I get on here I get interrupted. I can relate though, most of what you said goes for me too except apparently I'm not anemic anymore. I really like your blue wig, I was planning on getting a deep purple one, the one i want is cosplayish but I still really like it haha
