About Me:
Lost 90% of my hair had the 5 year iud,removed it on the 4th year,lived in a apartment with black for over 2 years. Now my dermatologist saids I have alopecia aerate! He did not due a biopsy.The hair loss is in round perfect circles& other symptoms.He said there is no need.You have all the symptoms. Should I insist on the biopsy? Please help! When you do not have good insurance. Doct. Just give you more meds. I am 36 years old. I have over 6 doctors. They all say a different things. Thank you all for your support and some1 that knows the frustration.

I can stop feeling sorry for myself! I feel guilty for feeling sorry for myself. People out there just lost there life's and limbs!! I go to a therapist ! It does not help! I love my boyfriend soo much but he defiantly treats me way different,since I lost my hair ,and my hair is brown with thick grey hairs. I get cortisone shots every six weeks! Wen I take a shower my hands are full of pieces of hair that are 1/2 inch long. All the new hair that is growing from the shots! Been diagnost with AA… Continue

Hi Trish! Your story has me scared for you! It is so odd they couldn't find the strings to the iud. And the symptoms you are experiencing makes me wonder if it hasn't some how moved causing you all the pain. I hope you have it removed soon and that you start to feel better.
