Hi Tim,

I wasnt sure where to respond to you question about how eyelashes are tattooed so I figured on your page would be appropriate.

I go to a Para-Medical Tattoo Artist. Her name is Athena.
She uses a hairstroke technique. In a nutshell she tattoos lines from just above and below the eye. Not like eyeliner at all. Not something you would see on a female.

If you would like more information let me know. I can give you her contact info.

Hello Tim. It's amazing to me how little the world knows about alopecia. When I went to my physician, he recommened me to a dermatologist. Now I have no hair. It is quite distressing as I used to be a beautiful blonde. I have not been able to successful at dating since I lost my hair. I hope this is not the case for everyone, although everyone based my "being" on my beauty. I no longer have it and it is quite distressing.

Hi Tim, I've never seen any formal studies regarding the relationship between stress/trauma and hairloss. However, to the doc's, the incidence is too frequent to be just circumstantial. Everyone metabolizes stress differently. Stress in some raises cotisol levels and problems with weight develop. Others, like us, experience hairloss. TE is common under stress in many but that can jumpstart alopecia in those with the genetic predisposition.
