Hello and welcome, Sarah!
I know how hard it can be. I have had alopecia for about 30 years. After I became the spokesperson for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, a lot of women were needing my help and support, so I wrote a book called, "If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!" It might make you feel better. You can find out more on my page -- and let me know if there's anything else I can do!

Hi Sarah,
I am Olivia's mom, Sandy and we would like to welcome you to Alopecia World. Olivia has had alopecia since she was 2 years old and has lost all of her hair twice. She decided when she was 8 years old not to wear wigs or hats. Olivia handles her condition very well and has had some amazing opportunies come into her life as a result of it. She is a Kid Caster on Radio Disney and we recently wrote, filmed and produced a music video about alopecia and bullying. Though Olivia has never been teased or bullied personally we know others who have been. You can view 'I Could Be Great!' on Olivia page under videos. Let us know what you think of it.
