Alopecians in Michigan will celebrate International Alopecia Day (August 6th, 2011) with a late lunch at T.G.I Fridays in Livonia. We will be meeting at 3 PM.
Come for lunch, come for dinner, come for an appetizer or just come for coffee…

You have to try temporary removable tattoo eyebrows here: www.tattoobrows.com you can swim in them, take a shower, etc. I can't believe how wonderful they really are. Mine stat on at least 3 days and I can easily take them off…

I use fake eyebrows which my aunt bought for me from www.headcovers.com. They r really gr8 to wear & all natural.....i luv wearing them.. :)

- I was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata about 12 years ago. With cortisone shots, I had amazing regrowth and had a full head of hair (albeit GRAY) until this past April.
Between mid-April and Memorial Day, I lost all of my hair. And then my eyebrows. Then the hair on my arms, legs, underarms...and eventually - well, y'know.

Saying Goodbye (for now) to my Dermatologist

I had an appointment with my Derm today. She's a sweet girl (Ack, they do make doctors young these days, don't they?) and she actually had tears in her eyes when she suggested that we stop the cortisone shots.
I had walked in there planning to tell her that I thought today would be the last visit.
