- I have had alopecia in some form most of my life. I lost my hair in the 3rd grade, it came back by 5th grade. Then at age 30 it began falling out again, then came back 3 years later. It stayed for 1 year and then fell out again. Currently living without and it have learned to live a full and happy life just as I am, hair or no hair.

I have a very accepting family and friends that have been wonderful. It helps to have a great support system as there truly are ups and downs with having AA.
This is a great place to be for friendship, talking, venting...etc!!! Glad you found it.
